THE ROAD TO LONGEVITY
No matter how young or old, it is never too late or too early to start on the road to Longevity. “It is never too late to start. It is always too late to wait.” ~ Jeff Olson
God says in His Word: “My people are destroyed by a lack of knowledge.” My lifelong goal is to study, to create and to impart wisdom and knowledge of the storehouse of blessings God has provided for us in life’s amazing Circle of Health.
THE BLUE ZONES
The next several posts will zero in on these lessons learned from Centenarians in the Blue Zones. I gave an overview of these nine key lessons in the last post. Let’s learn more. Remember, The Blue Zones are those areas of the world carefully studied by Dan Buettner and a team of others to uncover common lifestyle denominators of these honorable ones.

WHAT DOES THE SCRIPTURE SAY?
Let me begin with a preface from the Scriptures. We have wonderful promises from God’s Word. In my life, His Word is the absolute truth. His pattern throughout the scripture is: “If you do this, I will do this.” Have you noticed this? Please don’t take my word for this. Become aware as you read and this will be clear. There are laws of sowing and reaping.
“Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, that your days my be prolonged and that it may go well with you in the land which the Lord your God gives you.”
And John 15:7,8 IF you abide in Me and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done.
He has done His part, we just have to receive by doing our part and following His guidelines.
There are clues to show us how to recover some of the years of our lifespan, (and more importantly, our Healthspan), that might otherwise have been stolen by a lack of knowledge.
THE LITTLE THINGS
Important things can be very simple. It is usually the little things that make the big difference. Jeff Olson in his book called “The Slight Edge” refers to these little choices done consistently as the things that eventually start us on the upward success journey in life. They tend to multiply in dividends of benefits as time compounds efforts.
