Language of the Circle of Health Part III

Proverbs teaches us to speak the languarge

The book of supreme wisdom – The Book of Proverbs – gives us great guidelines for speaking the language of the circle of health.

Proverbs 4:20-22
“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.”

Keep God's Word in your HeartOne great author says that many are sick because their eyes are focused on their sickness instead of focused on the promise from God’s word. We are instructed to pay attention (to attend) to God’s Word. For we look not at the things which we see, for they are temporary and fleeting. But we look at the unchanging Word of God.

Proverbs 10:11

“The mouth of a righteous man (or woman) is a well of life.”

If we have deposited the Word of God in our heart by spending time to renew our mind and act on what we have read and learned, we can open our mouth and activate the promises by faith. As we speak a well of life comes forth.

Proverbs 12:18

“The tongue of the wise is health.” The Amplified Classic says “The tongue of the wise brings healing.”

Proverts 13:3

“He that keeps his mouth keeps his life; but he that opens wide his lips shall have destruction.”

If you and I entertain the desire of living to 100 i good health, we must establish a disciplined thought life and train our selves to never allow our mouth to say whatever it feels like saying. Daily discipline captures every wrong thought and brings it into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Choose to speak only those things you wish to come to pass. Guard your lips and you will be guarding your life.

Proverbs 15:4a tree of life and beauty

“A wholesome tongue is a tree of life.”

In the Hebrew the word “wholesome” means curative; medicine, cure, healing, deliverance, remedy.”

We can speak our future health into existence.

Proverbs 16:24

The Word of God
He has a promise for every need.

Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and health to the bones.

God’s Word is like a medicine with no bad side effects. (There are many good side effects.) One translation read “New life to the bones.” (BBE)
