Make a way where there is no way.

THINKING BIGGER

You are not here in this path by accident. The Spirit of the living God is wanting to do something in you and through you. There are miracles inside of you just waiting to be birthed. As you think on, believe and speak this truth, finding joy in your life will become an everyday habit.

You are a spirit. You live in a body, which must be trained; and you have a mind, which must be renewed.  Let’s talk about “Mind Renewal” as we explore the circle of health.

WHAT THOUGHTS ARE YOU THINKING?

One of the biggest keys to success lies in our thinking. Jerry Savelle, a well known General of the Faith, says, “the biggest difference between the people who seize their God-given opportunities and those who don’t is that the man or woman of faith can see an opportunity in every adversity. Thoughts come, but not every thought works to our advantage.  Some thoughts are to be cherished and thought on and spoken.  God tells us exactly what categories these thoughts fall into in Phil 4:8: things that are true, things that are noble, whatever things are just, pure, lovely, of a good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things.

USE YOUR CHECKLIST 

It was emphasized at the SW Believers Convention 2024 that we need to run every thought through  a checklist of those things mentioned in Phil 4:8.  If the thought does not meet the criteria, capture it and make it come into the obedience of Jesus Christ.  This is something you and I can do.  If God tells us to do this, we can.  It does take training, as it is not easy to do.  We have been trained most of our lives to let our thoughts go where they want to go.  We overcome wrong thought by speaking the truth from the Word of God.  Thoughts cannot overcome thoughts.  Only Words overcome thoughts.

WORD POWER

Every thought not captured will soon become a word. Words are powerful.  Words create.  The Bible  says words are so very powerful that they create life and death.  We must train ourselves to guard every word we speak.

You and I are creating our own future by the thoughts we think and the words we speak. This is a huge thing to remember.
